Perth entertainment and sporting precinct
824. Hon Anthony Spagnolo to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Transport:
I refer to an answer
provided to additional questions by the minister during this house's budget
estimates process that stated: "The State Government has no plans to
purchase or acquire any additional land" regarding the Perth entertainment
and sporting precinct.
(1) Has the government issued a default notice to
purchase back the relevant lot or lots at Burswood Peninsula currently held by
Crown casino?
(2) If yes to (1), on what date was it issued?
(3) Have any discussions or negotiations taken
place with Crown casino for the repurchase, swap or otherwise acquisition of
land held by Crown for the development of the racetrack at Burswood?
(4) If yes to (3), on what dates were these
discussions held?
