Some members of the New Metro Rail Environmental Community Consultative Committee (ECCC) were paid travel and meal expenses and Jeff Anderton the representative of the Conservation Council of Western Australia; Port Kennedy LCDC; Larkhill Landcare; Wetlands Conservation Society received payment for his time in attending site inspections. Travel expenses paid were based on the Public Transport Authority schedule for travel allowances at 69 cents per kilometre and $32.65 for a meal.
