YARLOOP POLICE STATION
1112. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
Attorney General representing the Minister for Police:
(1) When will the police station in Yarloop become
operational?
(2) How many officers will be based there?
(3) What will the hours of operation be?

AnswerView source ↗

On behalf of the Minister for Police, I thank the honourable
member for some notice of the question.
(1) Once
remedial works are completed at the station and it is deemed suitable for
occupation, the station will become operational. At this stage, no opening date
can be confirmed.
(2) Western Australia
Police advises that, due to operational sensitivities, specific information
that relates to staffing levels of individual police stations is not released.
Resources are allocated at a district level and district superintendents deploy
those resources within their districts to deliver the best possible policing
service to the community.
(3) Hours of
operation will be subject to operational demands.
