I have considered the concerns raised by the Member and Mr Adam in relation to the identification of Lot 330 for Public Purposes in the draft Southern Metropolitan and Peel Sub-Regional Structure Plan. I am advised that the Director General of the Department of Planning has investigated the concerns and responded to the Member.
I am aware the Adam family's planning consultant has made a submission on the draft structure plan, objecting to the proposed Public Purposes classification. The Western Australian Planning Commission will consider this submission when it reviews the draft structure plan and make a determination bearing in mind all issues raised in the submissions received.
