representing the Treasurer:
I refer to the recent announcement
made by the Minister for Racing and Gaming about funding to expand Geraldton
Hospital.
(1) Is the
Treasurer aware of this funding commitment and the details of what it will
include; and, if yes, how was the Treasurer made aware?
(2) Did the
Treasurer or his department approve this commitment prior to the announcement
being made?
(3) Can the
Treasurer confirm that funding is available for this commitment in the 2016–17
financial year and/or forward estimates?
(4) When will funds for this project
be released?
