I refer to the compliance divisions at the Department of Commerce, and I ask: (a) how many FTE positions were in compliance for the public sector at 30 June for each of the following years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 to date; (b) how many FTE positions were in compliance for the private sector at 30 June for each of the following years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 to date; (c) for each FTE at 30 June 2016 in public sector compliance, please detail how many FTE were at levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and executive levels 1, 2 and 3; (d) for each FTE at 30 June 2016 in private sector compliance, please detail how many FTE were at levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and executive levels 1, 2 and 3; (e) how many staff are currently acting above their substantive positions in public sector compliance; and (f) how many staff are currently acting above their substantive positions in private sector compliance?

Reference to specified public and private sectors Compliance Provisions at the Department of Commerce are inconsistent with the Division’s functions and organisational structure. Therefore the member should provide greater specificity as to what she is seeking
