FISHING TAX
I have a supplementary question. Did the Premier just forget to declare, or does he have some hesitancy about declaring, full confidence in his Minister for Fisheries? Mr C.J. BARNETT

I do have full confidence in the Minister for Fisheries. He has been prepared — Mr P.B. Watson interjected. The SPEAKER : Order, member for Albany! Mr C.J. BARNETT : It is pathetic! The Minister for Fisheries, Hon Norman Moore, is probably not seen as a warm and fuzzy person on the environment. I concede that. I think he would concede that. Several members interjected. Mr C.J. BARNETT : He is not warm and fuzzy on the environment. However, as the fisheries minister, he has taken the very unpopular action of protecting the crayfish breeding cycle, and now he is taking action to protect dhufish and other demersal scalefish. So he is becoming one of the great conservationists of the Western Australian government.
