Notes:
Statistics are provisional and subject to change.
1.  Train stations are not identified as discreet locations and are identified by the locality/ localities in which they occur. An offence occurring at a train station will be mapped to the locality where that part of the train station is located.
2.  Offences occurring at either a train station or bus stop are recorded in the Incident Management System (IMS) under the place description of "Bus Stop/Train Stop"; therefore statistics provided can include offences that occurred either at a bus stop or train station.
3.  Verified offences are all offences reported, or becoming known to, police within the relevant time period that have not been determined to be falsely or mistakenly reported.
4.  Sanctioned offences are verified offences where an investigation outcome has been recorded of an offender(s) being apprehended or processed (such as arrest, summons, caution or referral to a Juvenile Justice Team), or where for some substantial reason, police investigations cannot be continued.
