NEW CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL — CAPACITY
220. Mr R.H. COOK to the Minister for Health:
I have a supplementary question.
Will the minister guarantee that as a result of his decision to expand the
number of oncology beds there will be no reduction in any other beds throughout
the hospital; that is, they will rely on excess capacity, not current capacity?

I just answered that question. The
Deputy Leader of the Opposition had his supplementary question prepared before
he even listened to the answer. It is the same stuff. It is what I answered. I
said that we are looking at all those bed numbers.
Point of Order
Mr R.H. COOK : The minister
clearly wants me to ask my other supplementary question—the one I had
planned. Should I ask that one, too?
The
SPEAKER : Has the minister finished?
Dr K.D. Hames : I
have finished.
