I refer to the McGowan Government’s commitment of $2 million towards a new 25-metre indoor pool and clubrooms at the Collie Mine Workers Memorial Olympic Pool: (a) what is the current status of this project; (b) has the financial assistance agreement been completed; (c) what is the total cost of the project and who will fund the remainder of the cost of the construction; (d) when will the pool be constructed; and (e) what are the annual maintenance costs and who will fund these costs?

a) The project is in the planning stage. Community consultation is currently underway.
b) A Financial Assistance Agreement for $150,000 for planning has been executed between the State and the Shire of Collie.
c-e) To be determined as part of the planning. The Shire of Collie will be required to fund maintenance.
