I refer to the canal housing estate and marina proposed for
Mangles Bay. Have any members of the Environmental Protection Authority board
had a conflict of interest or held directly or indirectly shares in Cedar Woods
or any company connected with Cedar Woods between 2005 and 2014 while the EPA
was considering the section 16 feasibility study, the scoping study, the public
environmental review, the appeal and the reports to the minister?

The Minister for Environment has advised that minutes of
Environmental Protection Authority meetings do not indicate any declaration of
conflict of interest, either pecuniary or non-pecuniary, while the
Environmental Protection Authority was considering the section 16 feasibility
study, the scoping study, the public environmental review or the assessment
report to the minister. There is also no record of any conflict of interest
being registered in respect of the Environmental Protection Authority being
consulted on appeals in relation to the authority's assessment report.
