Lotterywest advises:
(a-d) Each Lotterywest Annual Report contains a complete list of all grants made in that year together with the total number of grants approved and the total amount granted. The reports for the years requested are on Lotterywest's website:
http://www.lotterywest.wa.gov.au/about-us/publications
and hard copies are in the Parliamentary library or can be supplied by Lotterywest.
(e) Lotterywest retains only limited information on the monthly list of Members of Parliament invited to present grant 'cheques' and has even more limited information on whether these invitations were accepted. It would therefore be very difficult if not impossible to create an accurate list of those Members of Parliament who presented 'cheques' during the years to which the Member refers in his question.
For the Member's information, each month a small number of grants (in the order of 15 to 20 from the total list of those approved in that month which may range between 100 - 300) are selected for a presentation. An invitation to make these presentations is offered to the relevant Minister or Member of Parliament in the location where the grant recipient organisation is located. The selection includes both small and large grants and organisations across the State. Lotterywest recommends a variety of grants each month to highlight over the course of the year different aspects of the services to the community and of the range of grants offered. The purpose of this practice is to publicise Lotterywest's grant programs and to recognise the work of the organisations in question. The opportunity to make these presentations is offered by the Minister responsible for Lotterywest to Members of the Government and occasionally to Members of the Opposition where appropriate. This has been a practice of both sides of this House for many years.
