671. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the minister representing the
Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to Banksia Hill Detention
Centre and unit 18. Please provide the following information about detainees 18
years or older —
(a) the number currently in
detention;
(b) the number in (a) who have had applications made
to be moved to an adult detention facility u nder section 178 of the
Young Offenders Act;
(c) the number in
(a) who have received a screening for foetal alcohol spectrum disorder or other
cognitive disabilities; and
(d) the number in (a) who have a FASD
or other cognitive disability diagnosis?
