AND NORNALUP INLETS MARINE PARK — COORDINATOR
791. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
minister representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park
coordinator.
(1) Has this position been cut?
(2) If yes to
(1), who is now responsible for the coordination of the Walpole and Nornalup
Inlets Marine Park?
(3) Has the employee who held the position been redeployed?
(4) Have the
coordinator positions in any of the other marine parks in Western Australian
been cut; and, if so, which ones?

I thank the member for some notice of this question. The
Minister for Environment has provided the following response.
(1) Yes. The position was abolished on 2 July 2015.
(2) The Department of Parks and Wildlife's Frankland
district manager is now the responsible officer.
(3) No. The
occupant is being managed as per the Public Sector Management (Redeployment and
Redundancy) Regulations 2014.
(4) No.
