PLANNING —
CITY OF BUNBURY — DRAFT TOWN PLANNING SCHEME 8 ADVERTISING
1117. Hon ADELE FARINA to the minister
representing the Minister for Planning:
(1) What is the
delay with progressing the City of Bunbury draft town planning scheme 8 to
advertising?
(2) What is the expected time frame
for the granting of approval to advertise?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1) The City of
Bunbury has not submitted its draft town planning scheme 8 to the Western
Australian Planning Commission for consent to advertise.
(2) Once a draft
scheme is formally received by the Western Australian Planning Commission, the
time period for consideration of the scheme is generally 90 days. This is in
accordance with regulation 21(4) of the Planning and Development (Local
Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. These new regulations will take effect from
Monday, 19 October 2015.
