I refer to Question On Notice No. 3238 and funding to the Katanning Regional Business Association towards the installation of closed circuit television (CCTV), and I ask:
(a) has CCTV been installed; and
(i) if yes, what was the final cost of the installation of the CCTV; and
(ii) what was the final specific breakdown of costs associated with the installation of the CCTV?

(a)    Installation of the CCTV equipment has been completed. As at 28 January 2011, programming and commissioning of the system is being finalized by the contractor.
(i)  Stage 1: Shire of Katanning: $85,677.42 (ex GST)
The breakdown of contributions is as follows:
·         Office of Crime Prevention - $30,000
·         Regional Local Community Infrastructure Program (Commonwealth) - $40,000
·         Shire of Katanning - $15,677.42
Stage 2: Katanning Regional Business Association: $85,578.35 (ex GST)
·         The breakdown of contributions is as follows:
·         Great Southern Regional Grants Scheme - $60,000
·         Katanning Regional Business Association (KRBA) - $25,578.35
(Note :  KRBA had an additional $3,000 of in kind that is not included above)
(ii)               Costs associated with the installation were solely related to Stage 2 - please see table below for specific breakdown of costs which total $85,578.35.
