I refer to the Minister's answer to question on notice 602, in which the Minister was asked about average dwell times per each station on each train line for the month of March 2025, and to which the Minister responded with, "Train drivers dwell at each station in accordance with passenger loading and operational circumstances" and provided no other response or data, and I ask, on notice, providing four weeks for response: (a) for the weekdays of the week of Monday 3 March 2025 to 9 March 2025, what was the total dwell time per each station on the following lines: (i) Joondalup/Yanchep Line; and (ii) Mandurah Line?

(a) The Public Transport Authority’s current train control system is not configured to provide accurate dwell times per station. This is because the system measures train movements by track circuits and not platforms, noting track circuits do not align with the stopping positions on platforms.
