The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises:
(a) The target date for the commencement of flying operations for the South West Emergency Rescue Helicopter Service is 1 December 2015.
(b) Pending approval of contract negotiations and funding arrangements the Government will make an announcement on the site and operational detail.
