As at 31 July 2014 there were 4,256 children and young people in the care of the Chief Executive Officer of the Department for Child Protection and Family Support.
The Department's client information management system records a child's address but this information is not easily extractable for the purposes of reporting data at an aggregated level by suburb or electorate. Therefore information has been provided by district:
