I refer to the Building Ministers'
Meeting communique of August 2022 and the announcement of the adoption of a minimum
standard of a seven-star energy rating for new homes. Does the state government
intend to mandate a seven-star energy rating for new homes in Western Australia;
and, if so, through what mechanism?
