LARGE FERAL HERBIVORE
AERIAL SHOOTING PROGRAM
1551. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the Minister for Agriculture and
Food:
I refer to the large feral herbivore—LFH—aerial
shooting program undertaken by the Department of Primary Industries and
Regional Development.
(1) How many flying hours were completed under the
program for the years 2021–22, 2022–23 and 2023–24?
(2) For 2023–24, what was
the rate of kill per flying hour and how did this compare with previous years?
(3) What analysis
has DPIRD undertaken into the proliferation of LFHs, given the activities of
DPIRD under the program?

I answer on behalf of the minister.
Again, I do not have that answer in the file. If it comes in before question
time concludes, I will provide it to the member, but, if not, I am sure that
the minister will provide the answer to the member tomorrow.
