(1) In the month of August 2015 there were 759 new Safety and Wellbeing Assessments recorded in the following districts:
Armadale - 73
Cannington - 40
Crisis Care - 67
East Kimberley - 18
Fremantle - 19
Goldfields - 31
Great Southern - 63
Joondalup - 46
Midland - 20
Mirrabooka - 68
Murchison - 56
Peel - 43
Perth - 39
Pilbara - 42
Rockingham - 54
South West - 36
West Kimberley - 14
Wheatbelt - 30.
(2) As at 31 August 2015 there were 9 children in care for more than 30 days with no planning recorded.
(3) As at 31 August 2015, there were 633 Safety and Wellbeing Assessments open for more than 90 days in the following districts:

There are a range of reasons for delay in finalising Safety and Wellbeing Assessments, including waiting to receive critical information from other agencies or professionals; forensic investigations being finalised by Western Australia Police; and delays in data entry. The Department takes the necessary action to keep a child safe while the Safety and Wellbeing Assessment is underway.
(5) As at 5 September 2015 there were 491 monitored cases in the following districts:
