Currently there are in excess of 180 identified bus service improvement projects on Transperth's rolling programme of desired service improvements. Of these 180 projects, some involve one bus route being improved while some projects involve multiple bus routes and/or train service improvements.
The desired service improvements programme is an internal management document, that allows the PTA to remain aware of emerging public transport needs on a prioritised basis which can then be addressed when resources are available.
