I have a supplementary question. Will the minister admit that his Government’s failure to spend the promised $14 million for the upgrade and repair of accommodation is precisely why the island is now being referred to as “rotting Rottnest”? Mr R.C. KUCERA

I have already answered that question. It is the height of ignorance. I doubt very much whether the member for Hillarys has ever been to Rottnest. Has he ever visited Rottnest Island? He is the opposition spokesman, and he has never visited the island to inspect its facilities. He has just answered his own question.
