MAX LIGHT RAIL — ANNUAL CASH FLOW
597. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
minister representing the Treasurer:
I refer to Treasury's estimated total cost of $1.882 billion
for the proposed Metro Area Express light rail.
(1) When the project was due for completion in 2018, what was

(a) the base cost cash flow for
each year of the project; and
(b) the escalated cost cash flow
for each year of the project?
(2) Now that the project is due for completion by 2020, what
is —
(a) the base cost cash flow for each
year of the project; and
(b) the escalated cost cash flow
for each year of the project?

(1) (a) Nil; $65 million; $134 million; $604 million.
(b) Nil; $70 million; $150 million;
$712 million.
(2) (a) A base cash flow is not available.
(b) The member
should refer, once again, to page 374 of the 2013-14 Budget Statements , budget paper No 2, volume 1, where this is laid
out for each of the years required.
