(1) The current Agreement (for 2003) allocates 409 007 SCH for the College. (2) This is an increase of 6,003 SCH (1.49%) over 2002. (3) The planned SCH for 2003 (409 007) is split across the Campuses in the Kimberley, as follows: Broome 215 465 Derby 59 366 Halls Creek (including Fitzroy Crossing) 60 485 East Kimberley (Kununurra & Wyndham) 73 691 Total College 409 007 (4) The increase/decrease over 2002 allocations is detailed in the following table: SCH Increase/decrease Increase /decrease % Broome +14 969 +7.47% Derby +4 119 +7.46% Halls Creek (including Fitzroy Crossing) -5 832 -8.79% East Kimberley (Kununurra & Wyndham) -5 589 -7.05% Total +7,667 +1.91% (5) No, there was no specific appropriation for increases in student places of training opportunities at the individual campuses. This decision is made at the local level by the College because it is in the best position to identify training priorities and determine how to meet local training needs. There was, however, a slight increase in the overall student contact hours from 2002 to 2003 for the Kimberley College of TAFE, which would enable the College to provide additional training opportunities in the most appropriate way.
