I refer to a constituent who is currently on the waitlist for a cystoscopy at Albany Health Campus and has been advised he will not be seen until at least September, and I ask : (a) What is the current availability of the cystoscopy equipment at Albany Health Campus; (b) How often are cystoscopy procedure lists scheduled and run; (c) On average, how many patients are seen per cystoscopy list; (d) Is there capacity to increase the list ; (e) What are the current wait times for non-urgent, semi-urgent, and urgent cystoscopy procedures at Albany Health Campus ; and (f) What protocols are in place for patients on the waitlist who deteriorate and present to the Emergency Department—specifically, how are emergency cystoscopies managed, and are those patients prioritised differently?

a.       24
b.      Albany Health Campus has a visiting Urology Specialist scheduled every 2 weeks, who conducts cystoscopies.
c.     Up to 34 patients
d.      This is subject to specialist availability and available sessions. Where there are vacant sessions available the Urology Specialist is offered a further 2 to 4 adhoc sessions per month.
e.       Wait-times are determined by Category as outlined in the definition.
f.        If a patient presents to the Emergency Department, the WACHS Emergency Surgery Management Procedure is followed.
