I refer the minister to the contract for the central business district tunnel section of Labor’s southern rail link, for which the Government has accepted liability for the removal of any contaminated soil. (1) Will the minister confirm that the contractors have encountered more than 100 000 cubic metres of contaminated soil during drilling and excavation in both the Esplanade and the Perth yard sites?
