BUNBURY REGIONAL HOSPITAL — MULTIDAY BEDS
I refer to the minister’s answer to my question without notice asked yesterday about the number of multiday beds at Bunbury Regional Hospital. (1) Will the minister confirm that there are 105 physical constructed multiday beds at the hospital? (2) Why is the hospital not running 105 active multiday beds as required by the clinical services framework? (3) Does the hospital have sufficient staff to operate 105 active multiday beds? (4) What action is the minister taking to ensure that Bunbury Regional Hospital has 115 multiday beds by 2014–15 as required by the clinical services framework? (5) Does the 2011–12 budget forward estimates provide funding for the provision of these additional multiday beds; and, if yes, in what year has funding been allocated? Hon HELEN MORTON
