(a) & (b) Consistent with its obligations under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984, WorkSafe has been involved with the design registration of pressure vessels for storing the hydrogen gas and will have an operational involvement in the workshop maintenance facility. However, a risk assessment of the facility does not fall within WorkSafe's jurisdiction. The proposed Hydrogen Bus Refuelling Facility will be classified as a dangerous goods storage facility and will require a safety assessment under the Explosives and Dangerous Goods Act 1961administered by the Department of Industry and Resources.
