I refer to the answer to question without notice 386, on 6 May 2008. Will the minister table an unedited copy of the valuation prepared for the Western Australian Planning Commission by McGees Property, which has been denied to the Higginsons; and, if not, why not? Hon ADELE FARINA

I thank the member for some notice of this question. As advised in the response to question 386, negotiations by the Western Australian Planning Commission remain afoot. The WAPC has provided valuations in full or, in the case of the McGees valuation, an edited copy under a freedom of information request. At the time the WAPC responded to the FOI application, negotiations were still at a preliminary stage. The unedited report would have revealed the WAPC upper negotiating figure. Since the devaluations were released, WAPC has made a revised offer at the upper limit of its valuation advice. WAPC will therefore consider releasing the full report when it responds to a current query from the Higginsons about the WAPC offer that is on the table.
