In light of the Collie South West Hub Carbon Capture and Storage Project, the Australian Governments’ National Low Emissions Coal Initiative and the Cleaner Future for Power Station policy framework, could the Minister explain why recommended conditions relating to Carbon Capture and Storage readiness for Bluewaters Phase III & IV and Coolimba Power Station were removed by then-Minister Faragher?

I am advised that the then Minister for Environment, Hon Donna Faragher, clearly outlined the reasons for her decisions on Carbon Capture and Storage for the Bluewaters Phase III and IV Power Station and the Coolimba Power Station in the Minister's Appeal Determination 021-023 of 2010 and 025-026 of 2010 respectively.
