(a)(i) The Pilbara Revitalisation Plan does not include work on airport upgrades. The airport upgrades for Karratha and Port Hedland are part of the submission to the Federal Government requesting funding through Infrastructure Australia.
(a)(ii) The Pilbara Revitalisation Plan does not include work on wastewater services. The wastewater services proposal is part of the submission to the Federal Government requesting funding through Infrastructure Australia.
(a)(iii) The South Hedland Townsite revitalisation; Newman Townsite Revitalisation and Cultural Precinct and Tom Price Townsite Revitalisation projects are funded as part of the Pilbara Revitalisation Plan and will address in their detailed planning stages the availability of serviced land.
(a)(iv) The Karratha Service Workers Accommodation project funded under the Pilbara Revitalisation Plan will address the provision of accommodation to attract essential and service workers that cannot afford local high costs of living in Karratha. The submission to the Federal Government requesting funding through Infrastructure Australia will also look to replicate this accommodation concept by building further complexes to house essential workers, service professionals, transitional housing and lifestyle-retirement housing.
(b) Yes. The State Government's Infrastructure Australia bid to the Federal Government for Pilbara Cities includes a request for funds towards upgrade and possible relocation of waste water treatment in Port Hedland.
