I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question. The Minister for Housing advises —
(1) Yes, there was.
(2) The
department has been advised by ATCO Gas Australia that its personnel were at
the complex in Braithwaite Road, Lockridge on Friday, 1 November 2013 and on
Monday, 4 November 2013 where they removed gas meters from the ground floor of
the property, none of which was providing service to the unit involved in the
incident. The meters were removed as they were no longer in use. ATCO has
advised that all work was completed in accordance with Australian standards.
In the time available it has not been possible to do a
comprehensive search of the department's records to identify any other
work that may have been undertaken in the specified period. If further
information is required, it is requested that the question be put on notice.
