I refer to the Government’s 3% efficiency dividend, and I ask:
(1) Which Government Departments will not meet the 3% efficiency dividend?
(2) Given that these Departments will not meet the Treasurer’s 3% efficiency dividend, could the Treasurer please advise what percentage savings these Departments have managed to achieve?
(3) Can the Treasurer please advise as to the current projected growth in spending, given that the projected 12.0% growth in the Mid Year Economic Review will now be exceeded as a result of the Departments’ failure to achieve the 3% efficiency dividend?
(4) Given that the 3% efficiency dividend applied from January 2009, can the Treasurer please advise:
(a) how many Departments have approached Treasury for additional funding; and
(i) which Departments are these; and
(b) how much additional funding have each of the Departments requested?
