(a)-(e) Construction on the Forrestfield-Airport Link has been under way for about 34 months, during which time more than 4.7 million staff hours have been worked. In the absence of any specific definition of “safety incident” in the Member’s question, the Public Transport Authority has assumed that the Member means lost time injuries (LTIs) which have been reported to Worksafe.
For the period in question, there have been 10 LTIs recorded. Of these, head contractor SI-NRW JV has reported four LTI cases to Worksafe as required under the WA Occupational Health and Safety Act 1984. Details of which are as follows:
