OPERATING REVENUE ESTIMATES, POST-ELECTION INCREASE
(1) When was the Treasurer first informed of the significant post-election increase in operating revenue estimates? (2) What is the total increase in operating revenue over the four years 2001-02 to 2004-05 compared with Treasury’s pre-election estimates? (1) The Treasurer indicated to the Legislative Assembly Estimates Committee on Wednesday, 16 September 2001 that the Government was advised about changing revenue estimates from May onwards and that the final call on revenue was made close to the budget cut-off date of 21 August.
