I refer to the request by the Department of Corrective Services that employees vacate 15 houses on Driscoll Drive, Canning Vale, next to Hakea Prison, which belong to the department. (1) Does the department intend to continue ownership of these houses; and, if not, will they be sold and when? (2) If yes to (1), what use will the department have for these houses? (3) If used, will the houses be occupied by government employees or leased through private rental?
