(i) The Review of Tourist Accommodation Development in Western Australia is being conducted to look at concerns raised by the tourist accommodation development sector about impediments to development, including uncertainty and slowness in the approvals process, access to finance, impacts of planning policy and taxation settings.
(ii) The Review of the Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Committee (WAITOC) is to provide an objective assessment of WAITOC, its role, functions, operations and achievements.
(iii) The Review of the Regional Tourism Organisations (RTO) is to evaluate the current RTO model (including contractual arrangements) against 'best practice' in tourism and other industries, and then to advise how the model and contracts could be amended (if at all) to place regional tourism in WA in the most competitive position possible.
(iv) The Tourism Industry Roundtable (Committee) is a forum for key tourism industry stakeholders established in response to the impact of the global financial crisis on tourism. It meets monthly to monitor the health of the State's tourism industry and to discuss strategies which tourism organisations are pursuing to mitigate the effects of the current global economic downturn

(i) Patricia Ridsdale, a Tourism Western Australia Board Member and chairman of the Board's Quality Tourism Committee, which has been tasked to oversee the Review of Tourist Accommodation Development in WA on the Board's behalf. Ms Ridsdale also holds company director positions in the travel and wine industries.
(ii) Not Applicable (No Chair; a Steering Committee will oversee the project with representation from Tourism WA (2 staff) and the Office of Aboriginal Economic Development (1 staff).
(iii) Stephanie Buckland, Tourism WA's Executive Director Marketing, responsible for domestic and international marketing activities. Ms Buckland holds a Bachelor of Science (Marketing) degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Virginia.
(iv) As per (iii).

(ii) $43 934 for work to be undertaken by Sinclair Knight Merz Pty Ltd which has been sourced through a tender process (TWA332009).
(iii) $110 000 for work to be undertaken by Synovate Pty Ltd which has been sourced through a tender process (TWA132009).
(iv) $0
(6) There are no sitting fees paid in relation to the reviews or committee. The estimated total final cost of the reviews and committee that are still current are:
