the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Health:
I refer to the
provision of PET/CT services at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
(1) Were any issues of double billing or
billing irregularities raised for radiology services?
(2) Were private medical imaging services
being undertaken inside the public radiology PET/CT department?
(3) If so, were the costs associated with
using public infrastructure and associated resources like isotope managed in
accordance with the department's manual for private Medicare billing?
(4) What changes to these services were
made in 2025 and why?
