I refer the Minister to question No. 1900 answered in this House on May 12 2004 regarding the appointment of Pitcher Partners to provide expert assistance and financial support to the Rottnest Island Authority for the management of the Rottnest Island Hotel, and I ask -
(1) Are Pitcher Partners still being engaged by the Rottnest Island Authority to provide expert assistance and financial support in regards to the management of the Rottnest Island Hotel?
(2) If so, when is the current contract set to expire, and what has been the total cost of engaging Pitcher Partners to date?
(3) If not, what was the total amount paid by the Rottnest Island Authority to Pitcher Partners?
(4) Is the Rottnest Island Authority still responsible for the management of the Rottnest Island Hotel on a day-to-day basis?
(5) What is the total dollar amount of expenses accrued by the Rottnest Island Authority, for the management, maintenance, upgrading and operation of the Rottnest Island Hotel between April 1st 2004 and March 31st 2005, including costs associated with the engagement of Pitcher Partners?
(6) What is the total dollar amount of revenue received by the Rottnest Island Authority through the operations of the Rottnest Island Hotel, between April 1st 2004 to March 31st 2005?
(7) Are there currently any plans to outsource the management of the Rottnest Island Hotel?
(8) Are there currently any plans to link the lease of the Rottnest Island Hotel to the development of a 140 room resort on the Island?
(9) If so, when is it anticipated that tenders will be called for this development?
