I thank the member for some notice of this question.
(1) The resident entrepreneur program is an open program.
(2) The
resident entrepreneurs have volunteered their expertise free of charge, rather
than being contracted, and have agreed to provide a maximum of one week, equivalent,
of their time per annum to interact with and mentor innovators. In addition,
they have committed to attend four Innovation Centre of WA events per year.
(3) The
program will not officially commence until February 2013 and the eligibility
criteria will be determined prior to the program commencement.
(4) There is no cost to the government, as the entrepreneurs
are offering their services free of charge.
(5) The service will be offered free of charge to Western
Australian innovative enterprises.
