POLICE — OPERATION REDWATER
981. Hon KATE DOUST to the Attorney General
representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to the deployment of police officers and drug
detection dogs as part of the Pilbara drug investigation Operation Redwater .
(1) What was the cost of each of the
three phases of this operation?
(2) For each
of the deployments, how much of this cost was met by —
(a) local
police;
(b) the WA
Police budget, but not including local police funding; and
(c) other
funding sources, and could the minister please specify what they are?
(3) Are further deployments of this nature planned for mine
sites?
