a)       The WA Police Force supports victim safety and perpetrator accountability through a variety of actions related to bail and bail conditions, the serving of Restraining Orders, providing victims with duress alarms, and other measures. If the stalking offence has a family violence element, partner agencies are notified. If it is a non-FV stalking matter, Police engage with relevant Government, Non-Government and community-based agencies to assist.
b)      All victims of Family Violence offences receive a support card containing contact details, QR codes, and links to online services. The Department of Communities coordinates ongoing support based on the specific circumstances of each case. Victims of non-FV stalking offences are supported by Victim Support Services should the victim consent.
c)       All Family Violence incident reports, including stalking, undergo a triage process to assess risk and identify appropriate support services tailored to the victim’s circumstances. Risk alerts can be placed on the police system for any victim (FV or non-FV) to inform attending officers. Duress alarms may be deployed where risk levels warrant additional safety measures.
