I refer to the review of the Western Australian College of Teaching Act 2004 completed in June 2010. (1) Does the minister intend to make any changes to the act following the review? (2) If yes to (1), what changes? (3) When will these changes be made? Hon PETER COLLIER

(1)–(3) Yes, the findings of the review of the act point to the need for amendments to be considered on a range of matters, including objects, functions, governance, disciplinary provisions, and the act’s provisions in relation to similar provisions in the working with children legislation. The nature of any amendments and where such amendments are to be made will firstly need to be considered by cabinet.
