I refer to the chronic shortage of Homeswest housing in the Greater Bunbury area and Busselton, and the long queues waiting for Homeswest housing, and ask -
(1) How many Homeswest houses are currently vacant in, -
(a) the Greater Bunbury area; and
(b) Busselton?
(2) Why are these houses vacant?
(3) How many people are currently listed for Homeswest housing in, -
(a) the Greater Bunbury area; and
(b) Busselton?
(4) What is the wait time for a person on the wait list for Homeswest housing in, -
(a) the Greater Bunbury area; and
(b) Busselton?
(5) What is the Government/Minister doing to address this issue?
(6) How soon will additional Homeswest housing be made available in, -
(a) the Greater Bunbury area; and
(b) Busselton?
(7) In relation to (6), -
(a) how many additional Homeswest houses will be made available; and
(b) what sort of housing (unit, house, number of bedrooms and bathrooms)?

(5) The Liberal-National Government is committed to continued investment in public housing as well as investment and support for the growing community housing sector in order for it to provide social housing that addresses the need for affordable rental accommodation in the Greater Bunbury area and Busselton.
