(a) The requested data on the construction component of investment expenditure in the Western Australian mining industry is not collected or separately identified by any of the Department of Industry and Resources, the Department of Treasury and Finance, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA or the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA. However, the total investment expenditure in the Western Australian mining industry and the value of heavy industry construction work done in the State over the last ten years is as follows:
