Regarding the proposed siting of a Multi Purpose Service (MPS) on the Denmark Community Park, I ask -
(1) What are your reasons for choosing to site the MPS on the Denmark Community Park land when a more suitable site is available and is supported by the community?
(2) Has the Minister considered the Denmark Country Club site for the proposed MPS given that it is available and endorsed by the community, including members of the Denmark Country Club?
(3) If yes to (2), why has the Minister rejected this site?
(4) If no to (2), why not?
(5) Why does the Minister support the Shire of Denmark Resolution number 122/04, which overturns the professional recommendations of the CEO and the Town Planner of the Shire of Denmark?
(6) Have comprehensive costings of the various potential sites for the MPS been conducted, including the costs of road development, provision of sewerage, drainage, underground power and the effects of slopes on building costs?
(7) If yes to (6), please provide details of those costs?
(8) Can the Minister demonstrate on what basis the proposed land swap of the Community Park for the present hospital site is feasible?
(9) Is the present hospital site for sale?
