minister representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the
compliance assessment report dated 17 January 2014 prepared to satisfy
conditions of ministerial statement 941, by AECOM Australia Pty Ltd for the Derby
tidal power station project by Tidal Energy Australia Pty Ltd
(1) Is the minister aware that Tidal Energy
Australia Pty Ltd has not posted its 2014 compliance assessment report on its
website, as required under audit code 941 M4.7?
(2) Will the minister correct the
understanding of staff at the compliance branch at the Office of the
Environmental Protection Authority who advise those seeking a copy of the 2014
compliance assessment report to contact TEA?
(3) Will the minister direct TEA to post its
compliance assessment report on its website; and, if not, why not?
