1. The Department of Justice does not exist. However, as at 1 November 2008, 158 young people were in custody of the Department of Corrective Services. As at 30 October 2008, there were a total of 1,720 young people being managed or subject to supervision in the community.
(Statistics for Community Justice Services are calculated on a weekly basis and as such information is provided as at 30 October 2008, the closest date to 1 November 2008).
